The Low San Basketball Tournament kicked off at the Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) Court in Batu Bersurat last night.
The popular domestic meet will mark a month-long festival of basketball featuring numerous talents in the country. The opening ceremony was held last night after the first game between Nuctech and Patriots.
Low San Hardware Store proprietor Ong Tiong Oh was the guest of honour.
The second match witnessed Wan Sing Trading taking on heavyweights Cara Mudah.
The tournament will contest two categories – Tool Box Cup Men’s Open and Veteran Open Low San Cup. The tournament commenced with the group stages followed by the knock-out phase, culminating in the final on October 28. – Fadhil Yunus
