The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF)’s Company ‘C’ Police Reserve Unit thwarted an attempted smuggling operation at the border areas of Temburong District on Friday morning.
During the raid, police personnel detained one suspect while three others managed to escape by jumping into the river from their boat.
Authorities seized a total of 240 cans and 300 bottles of alcohol, along with 1,360 packs of cigarettes.
The case has been handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department for further investigation. – JAMES KON
