Company ‘C’ Police Reserve (forest police) personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) on Wednesday foiled a smuggling attempt of raw meat into the country during a patrol of the forests of Temburong District.
According to the RBPF, the law enforcers detected several suspicious individuals loading large boxes into a vehicle.
On inspection, police personnel found 16 boxes of undeclared raw meats. The case was reported to the nearby police station and handed over to the relevant law enforcement agency for further action. – James Kon
