The Welfare Body of Police’s Wives and Families (PEKERTI) of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri event at the Mess Banquet Hall of the RBPF headquarters in Jalan Gadong recently.
The celebration saw stage performances by PEKERTI branches, followed with PEKERTI Social Body Chair Afina binti Willy Edwin visiting the Raya stalls of each of the seven PEKERTI branches. PEKERTI’s branch B2 won the award for the most beautiful stall, while PEKERTI branch E placed second and PEKERTI branch C1 third.
Spouse of the RBPF Commissioner and PEKERTI President Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman was the guest of honour. PEKERTI executive members also participated. The event aimed to foster closer ties among members and encourage unity. – James Kon
