Four individuals, believed to be involved in a gang robbery, have been detained by the Royal Brunei Police Force’s Criminal Investigation Department unit.
According to the police, the incident at Sungai Hanching took place on July 3. It started when the victim, a foreign national, wanted to buy a mobile phone from a seller through Facebook.
They met at the victim’s residence to conclude the sale, but it failed after the victim found the mobile phone to be faulty. The victim was then hit at the back of his head, and he fell unconscious.
