The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) on Wednesday confirmed that a report has been lodged of an incident believed to be robbery on July 26 at a residence in Tutong District, after several photos of the alleged house went viral on social media.

According to the RBPF, a report was received through the police hotline 993.

The police is currently conducting investigation into the case.

Meanwhile, the RBPF sought the public’s cooperation to report any individual or suspicious incidents by providing information to the hotline 993 or by visiting nearby police stations.

The public can play a role by working with village heads and neighbourhood watch members in maintaining the safety of respective villages. Support from the public is crucial to help the RBPF in its effort to ensure the country is free from crime.
