The nightly Ramhadan 1446 Hijrah Tadarus ceremony at the Istana Nurul Iman continued its third night last Tuesday night, with participants are the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments.
In attendance were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah.
Also present were officers and staff from PMO and its departments, religious officers and teachers, and invited guests.
The event began with mass Isyak prayer followed by Sunnat Tarawih and Doa led by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Khatib Haji Awang Emran bin Haji Kunchang and then proceeded with a religious talk on “Fadhilat Surah Al-Fatihah”.
The religious speaker for the male section was Ustaz Muhammad Yusri bin Abd Majid while the female section was Ustazah Norhayati binti Abd Rahman.
The Tadarus Al-Quran followed after the talk and concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam
The religious event aimed to enliven and intensify acts of worship and religious activities throughout the holy month of Ramadhan. – Lyna Mohammad
