KUALA LUMPUR (BERNAMA) – The case of a father who has to regularly ferry his 11-month-old son with chronic lung problems to hospital on a motorcycle has caught the attention of Malaysia’s Prime Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The man’s plight has gone viral on social media and the PM’s political secretary Ahmad Farhan Fauzi is requesting anyone with information about this family to share it in the comments section of his Facebook page so that they can be contacted.

The man has been identified as Azlan Ishak, 35, a fisherman in Kedah earning a daily wage, who could not afford a car and has to commute with his family on a motorcycle to collect medicine for the baby.

He explained that his son suffers from chronic lung problems and needs to use a respirator almost all the time.
