The public, school-leavers, graduates and working professionals who wish to further their education and develop skills are welcome to Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Open Day 2023 officially launched yesterday.
UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle officiated the UBD Open Day 2023 as guest of honour. Also present were principal officers, staff and UBD students. The open day is the biggest physical event since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019.
Visitors have the opportunity to meet academic, research and service faculties representatives.
Entrepreneurship Village (EV); UBD Corp; local partners, government agencies, the UBD Centre of Networking, Employment and Career Training (CoNECT) and others who had collaborated with UBD through research and events are available to provide information during the event.
Dr Hazri launched the new UBD website with efficient navigation for its online content as well as easy accessibility to the latest information on the campus, faculties, facilities, programmes and news. The website includes a live chat during working hours and UBD is also on Darussalam Line 123.
UBD Feedback System is also available as an online platform for stakeholders to provide input and receive feedback. Users, which may include staff and students, can submit details of their feedback to the relevant departments.
Students can enjoy discounts from 30 participating vendors ranging from food and beverages to retail and airfares at the open day with their student card.
UBD Open Day 2023 is held from February 15 to 17 at the Chancellor Hall, UBD from 8am to 4pm, with a two-hour break from from noon to 2pm tomorrow.
