Following public complaints, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Syariah Affairs Department ordered a stationery shop to stop selling a planner.
Department inspection and checks by Scientific Services Department at the Ministry of Health (MoH) found the planner’s inner cover to have haram materials.
The stationery shop was told to isolate all planners to safeguard the well-being of Muslims in Brunei Darussalam.
