Petrofes Sdn Bhd, a personal protective equipment (PPE) manufacturer, officially opened its new manufacturing site at The Walk, Beribi yesterday.
Petrofes CEO Effendi bin Haji Said during the opening ceremony said, “We believe that by opening this branch in Bandar Seri Begawan, Petrofes continues to support a collaborative and innovative culture where our employees can focus on serving and meeting the needs of our clients and customers.
“The offices have been completely renovated to reveal a contemporary new look functioned to promote customer experience.”
In addition to this new flagship facility, Petrofes operates its headquarters in Kuala Belait with a team of around 20 locals.
Managing Director of Brunei Shell Petroluem Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) and Shell Country Chair in Brunei Agnete Johnsgaard-Lewis, who was the guest of honour, and other officials toured the facility.
In November 2020, Petrofes signed an agreement with BSP to be the authorised supplier of PPE, including fire-retardant coveralls, headscarves and balaclavas.
