The Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office, through its Belait District branch, held a Personal Contact Programme for Kampong Sungai Liang, Mukim Liang residents yesterday.
The programme shared updates on current issues and government policies, while gathering feedback for government agencies.
Head of the District Branch at the Information Department Haji Fathi Foad bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abu Bakar highlighted the department’s role as the government’s voice, providing timely information through platforms such as the programme and Pelita Brunei.
The programme included face-to-face sessions to strengthen government-community relations. It also saw dialogue sessions with the villagers on the issues raised, related to environment, infrastructure and public facilities as well as others. – Lyna Mohamad
