Thirty-four members of the Kampong Pulaie Takmir Mosque Working Committee Members (AJKTMKP) for the session 2024-2026 who received letters of appointment following a ceremony organised by the Kampong Pulaie Mosque yesterday, were told to perform their duties with good intentions.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, the guest of honour, who presented the letters of appointment, made this call while congratulating the members on their appointment.
The establishment of the committee members is intended to assist the Mosque Affairs officers in promoting the mosque by holding takmir mosque activities.
This includes general refinement, especially activities relating to carrying out ibadah such as praying five times; knowledge lectures; Al-Quran recitation classes for adults and children; Dikir Brunei workshop; Ratib Al-Attas and others.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid and Acting Director of Mosque Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri were also present. – Fadhil Yunus
