Twenty-three participants of the Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque Al-Quran Tarannum Guidance Class (KBTQ) celebrated the completion of their programme with a certificate presentation ceremony on Sunday.
Brunei-Muara District Mosque Affairs Officer Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Ghani presented certificates to the participants.
The programme has been held since 2018 with two sessions each year, and was carried out online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The programme aims to aid and guide participants in the art of Al-Quran Tarannum recitation, using maqams such as Bayyati, Soba, Hijaz, Rast, Sikah and Jiharkah.
