ANN/THE STAR – A doctor from Perak lost his life in a motorcycle collision with a car in Labuan, Malaysia, yesterday.
The 30-year-old, identified as Harvin Longanathan from Chemor town, succumbed to the accident near Simpang Rangas at around 7.50am.
Labuan Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Hamizi Halim said the victim was plying through Jalan Bebuloh when he lost control of his motorcycle as he was negotiating a road bend.
“As a result, his motorcycle veered into the opposing lane and hit straight into a car driven by a 38-year-old woman,” he said, in a statement.
