The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) held a flag hoisting ceremony to mark the 38th National Day celebration in front of the college’s administration building yesterday.
KUPU SB Ra’es Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar was the guest of honour. Acting Deputy Ra’es Dr Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha and Acting Assistant Ra’es Dr Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kasih also attended.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by Asmaa Ul-Husna by Head of Religious Exco and Takmir Surau 2021/2022 Muhammad Noor Syahmi bin Mazne.
The event saw the handing over of the national flag by the Ra’es as well as flag hoisting, singing of the national anthem and the three times lauding of Allahu Akbar led by the Ra’es.
The ceremony concluded with a recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan.
