Parliamentarians discuss marine debris in Southeast Asian waters

The issue of marine debris in Southeast Asian waters was discussed during a meeting of regional parliamentarians with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the International Conservation Caucus Foundation.

The ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly held talks with the two organisations in Bogor, Indonesia on Thursday, discussing solutions to address marine debris in the region.

This included applying technology and innovation in tackling these challenges.
