Parents of students at Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTET) recently gained insights into post-A Level planning during the school’s pathway programme.
Organised by PTET, the event featured several talks, such as ‘The Role of Parents in Maintaining Mental Health Before Exams’, by Siti Juhaidah binti Haji Bujang from the Islamic Da’wah Centre at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Deputy principal of administration Haji Azrin bin Haji Bolhassan, shared information on academic matters, and among them, this year’s exam achievements.
PTET’s career tutor Dayangku Farizah binti Pengiran Haji Wahab delivered a talk on ‘Students’ Pathways After A Levels’.
The programme continued with a letter-writing session, led by PTET counsellor Norhaslinda binti Haji Mohd Adnan, during which letters written by students were read to the parents, while parents responded by writing back to encourage their children ahead of the AS/A Level exams. – James Kon
