Panel discussion marks International Women’s Day

Progresif Sdn Bhd organised a panel discussion themed ‘Women on the Forefront of Progress’ yesterday in conjunction with International Women’s Day.

The pannellists were Canadian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ambra Dickie; Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd Hajah Farida binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib; Dean of Universiti Brunei Darussalam’s (UBD) Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and Literature Dr Kathrina binti Mohd Daud who is also author of The Fisherman King and The Witch Doctor’s Daughter; Counsel and Prosecuting Officer at Attorney General’s Chambers, executive committee member at Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) and Girls4Girls Brunei mentor Natasha Halim; and lead trainer and training coordinator at Brunei Darussalam Leadership and Teacher Academy (BDLTA) Mohammad Syafiq Abu Bakar.

Progresif Chief Executive Officer Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar and United States Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Caryn McClelland were present.
