In response to social media posts regarding an incident at a school in Panaga, Kuala Belait, the Royal Brunei Police Force has confirmed that they received a report of a bomb threat via email directed at a staff member of the school on Monday.
Following a thorough inspection of the premises, authorities have determined that the threat was a hoax, as no explosives were found.
Investigations are ongoing by the Cybercrime Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department, in collaboration with Interpol, to identify the sender of the email.
