Pakistan High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Farhat Abbas Sani recently visited Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s (UNISSA) Sinaut Campus.
The high commissioner toured the campus and its facilities used by UNISSA’s Faculty of Agriculture and Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre. The tour included visits to the Ibnu Sina Laboratory, the herb house, corn farm, the pond, and the Al-Azhar Gallery.
During the visit, the high commissioner also interacted with a delegation from Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus, who were on an educational visit to UNISSA.
The visit by the high commissioner aimed at gathering insight into the learning and research activities in the campus as well as identifying potential cooperation between UNISSA and Pakistan, particularly in the fields of agriculture, halal science, technology and innovation. – Fadley Faisal
