The Pakistan High Commission in Brunei Darussalam organised a flag hoisting ceremony to mark the country’s 75th Independence Day at its chancery in Kampong Lambak Kanan yesterday.
The event, attended by members of the Pakistani community in the Sultanate, began with prayers for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, followed by the flag hoisting event officiated by High Commissioner-Designate of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Farhat Abbas Sani.
A friendly cricket match between Pakistani and Alcoa volunteers was also organised at the Panaga Club, Kuala Belait.
