The Wawasan Brunei 2035 Supreme Council has published The Wawasan Brunei 2035 Report (2015-2022). The report, now available on the Prime Minister’s Office website at www.jpm.gov.bn and Wawasan Brunei 2035 website at www.wawasanbrunei.gov.bn, shares the progress of implementation and the achievement of efforts in support of Brunei Vision 2035 from 2015 to 2022.
The report was prepared in collaboration with ministries, implementing agencies and stakeholders and presents information on the data and initiatives.
The report also provides an overview of future trends, challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing, competitive world landscape which aims to enhance readiness for the emergence of megatrend waves such as the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0), climate change, the digital economy driven by the Internet of Things (IoT) and others that will offer opportunities, challenges and new norms in the Sultanate’s move towards achieving the vision of the future.
To date, Brunei has made encouraging progress towards achieving Brunei Vision 2035’s three main goals. There is, however, much to be done in terms of accelerating progress including efforts to become transformative and impactful in support of the national vision.
