A total of BND226,058 was raised for the National Orphans Fund through the short messaging service (SMS) donation campaign ‘SMS Brunei Prihatin for Orphans fund’ for 2022 by three local telecommunication companies.
The donations were handed over to the Community Development Department (JAPEM) under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports during a ceremony on Friday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad received the donations.
