The blood donation drive organised by SC Tubular Solutions (B) Sdn Bhd at the OneCity Shopping Centre in Jalan Muara collected a total of 71 pints of blood yesterday.
Marking the second blood donation this year, it was organised in collaboration with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre and supported by Change & Impact and OneCity with sponsorships from Flour and Butter, Three Light Coffee, JHK and Haz Bridal.
The annual initiative is part of SC Tubular Solutions’ yearly health programme, aimed at lending support to RIPAS Hospital’s Blood Donation Centre by replenishing the stocks at the blood bank, which is currently in need of fresh supply.
OneCity was selected as the venue to encourage more participants from the public to donate their pint of blood and make the drive accessible.
The donors comprised members of the public and SC Tubular Solutions employees.
