Over 65 vendors comprising youth from the Women’s Institute of Brunei Darussalam (WI), the Youth Development Centre, the Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) Youth Centre and the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association participated in ‘Jualan Kuih-Muih Belia’.
A launch ceremony was held at the Riadah Hall of the BSB Youth Centre in the capital yesterday.
Director of Youth and Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Umi Kalthum binti Haji Abdul Rahim officiated the event.
The Jualan Kuih-Muih Belia runs until April 19, from 10am to 9.30pm while on Fridays, from 2.45pm to 9.30pm.
Apart from offering delicacies such as cakes, biscuits and pastries, the event also serves as a platform to encourage youth to make use of their potential and promote their products to generate income.
