A total of 63 underprivileged individuals from Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ and ‘B’ received donations in a tahlil and handover ceremony yesterday at the Jerudong Primary School hall.
Brunei-Muara District Officer Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim led the distribution of donations to the recipients during the day.
The event was organised by the village consultative council (MPK) of Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ and Kampong Jerudong ‘B’ as well as the Warisan Kedayan Jerudong Association and Korporasi Serbeguna Pesatuan Buhur (KSPB).
The donation was aimed at easing the burden of the less fortunate ahead of the coming month of Ramadhan.
