Some 336 prospective graduates of Institute Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) – 120 male and 216 female – participated yesterday in a Khatam Al-Quran and Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to mark IBTE’s 31st convocation.
President of Institution of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) Brunei Sr Haji Mohd Hanafi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Abdul Rahman, as a member of Board of IBTE, was the guest of honour attended the event at Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Serusop.
Also present were Director and Chief Executive Officer of IBTE Dr Haji Zamri bin Haji Sabli, assistant directors, special guests comprising of senior officers, teachers and staff as well as students’ parents. – Azlan Othman
