Some 254 Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and sixth form centre students attended a nationhood briefing held by the Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office, through its Nationhood Unit, at the multipurpose hall of the IBTE Agro-Technology Campus yesterday.
The briefing aims to support Brunei Vision 2035 objectives and initiative in the National Youth Policy Strategy 2020-2035.
Head of Nationhood and Strategic Communications Division of the Information Department, Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris delivered a talk on roles and responsibilities as citizens of the Sultanate.
She touched on the roles and responsibilities as a citizen to the country and monarch, community and family in together contribute towards the nation’s well-being.
A quiz to test the students’ understanding on the talk followed with prizes presented by campus manager Mardiana binti Haji Tahir. – Lyna Mohamad
