Some 152 umrah pilgrims comprising 138 adults and 13 children and a wheelchair-bound individual yesterday attended a briefing session prior to their departure for Makkah at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah.
Facilitated by Humairah Travel Centre (Borneo) Sdn Bhd officials, the briefing was also joined by two groups of umrah pilgrims travelling in January and February next year.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Izzat Akmal bin Haji Shahrol followed by a talk on umrah rituals by Islamic Da’wah Centre officer Haji Badaruddin bin Haji Besar.
The briefing concluded with a Doa Selamat by Imam Haji Nasrul Hazimin bin Haji Sapar. – Lyna Mohamad
