Over 1,400 students join career-discovery programme

Some 1,401 students participated in a career discovery programme, ‘Leading Lights: One Spark At A Time’, organised by Mavensdotlive recently.

Students from Tutong Sixth Form Centre, Meragang Sixth Form Centre, Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College and Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College had career discussions with professionals from both traditional and non-traditional jobs to gain insights into their potential career paths.

Students also participated in escape games and reflection sessions, designed to provide them with an understanding of the career landscape in the Sultanate.

The programme was named one of the 100 Excellence Action winners for Global Youth Development 2023 in Beijing, China, empowering Brunei’s youth and guide them to their future careers.

“This year’s edition was made possible through impactful partnerships and generous support from Dynamik Technologies Sdn Bhd and Jisco Marina Sdn Bhd. “Their commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders underscores the collective effort required to drive positive change in our society,” Mavensdotlive said in a statement.
