Some 126 officers and staff of the Ministry of Health (MoH) learnt the importance of Maqasid Syariah in management and administration, at the MoH’s Al-’Afiah Hall yesterday.
The briefing explained how Maqasid Syariah is relevant in ascertaining prosperity, social security and stability in the nation, while also highlighting several applications of the principles of Maqasid Syariah in services under the MoH.
It was coordinated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) to strengthen Maqasid Syariah in management and administration in the Sultanate, part of the MoRA’s strategic project for 2022-2024 to make the five principles of Maqasid Syariah in management and administration such as protection of life, protection of property, protection of health, protection of religion, and protection of dignity.
