The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan), as the Secretariat for the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA), held a Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of DANA at An-Naura Hall of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex yesterday where 15 orphans also received the Excellent Student Incentive Award (AIPC-DANA 2023).
Five students received the AIPC-DANA 2023 for Brunei Cambridge GCE ‘O’ levels – Kelly Chia Kay Li, Aleeya Maisarah binti Haji Roslan, Lim Lian Ling @ Lim Lia Ling, Nurnatasya binti Abdul Malik and Nursyaziana binti Abdullah.
Each student received a certificate, a computer and printer unit and a two-year learning pack in the form of cash worth BND760.
Another five received the AIPC-DANA 2023 for Religious Primary School Education certificate – Sharifah Habibah binti Mohammad Shariff, Rafiatul binti Talip, Nurul Nadhirah Adlina binti Zamain, Mohammad Johaziman bin Abdullah Mohammad Johairifatly and Syazwani Syafiqah binti Mohamad Irwan. They each received a certificate, a computer and printer unit, BND500 cash savings which is directly credited to the DANA account at Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB).
Meanwhile, the AIPC-DANA 2023 Award for the Primary School Assessment (PSR) was given to Nurhaysa Irdina binti Saiful Bahrin, Muhammad Wajdi ‘Abqari bin Haji Mohammad Junaidi, Nur Adriana Zahraa binti Abdullah Adi Fitri, Nurkhairahtul Dania binti Abdullah and Muhammad Afiq bin Abdullah Safasumanizam.
Each received a certificate, a computer and printer unit, and a two-year learning pack in the form of BND400 in cash.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of the DANA Board of Trustee, presented the AIPC-DANA 2023 Award.
Prior to the award presentation, a mass Fardhu Asar prayer to mark DANA’s anniversary was held, led by Imam Haji Julazni bin Haji Zaini, followed by the recitation of Surah Yassin and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with 25th anniversary of DANA. – Rokiah Mahmud
