“We decided to work on the project to figure out a solution to make the process of tender more efficient,” said Lakas dengan Klik! team member Dayangku Siti Nur Halimatul Sa’adiah binti Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman. She said the issue was that things were still done manually and required a lot of workforce to process one tender, “so we decided to make the process more efficient by digitising and simplifying the process via the Click and Bid Project.

“We hope to digitise more services to lessen lines at counters,” said the winning team member.

Meanwhile, the Student Attendance Management System (SAMS) Project, by the Data and Technology Management Unit (UPDT) of the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education received the AIP Bronze Award.

The group received a project learning grant of no more than BND3,000, a trophy and a certificate of appreciation. Seven groups received consolation prizes in the form of a trophy and a certificate of appreciation. The ceremony also saw the presentation of the APCPA to 45 government officers and personnel.

Forty-five government officers and personnel from Divisions II, III, IV and V in each ministry have been granted the APCPA this year.

APCPA Award recipient from the Ministry of Education Nadia binti Othman said, “Alhamdulillah, it is an honour to receive the award. I hope that this award can inspire and motivate others to improve work quality and productivity.”

The primary objective of the APCPA is to recognise members of the civil service who have demonstrated outstanding job performance and possess qualities that can serve as examples to other officers and personnel to deliver quality work exceeding the requirements of their positions and responsibilities.

It is hoped that the award will inspire, motivate and increase productivity and quality to achieve the Brunei Vision 2023 goals.

Recipients of the APCPA for each grade receive a plaque, a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of BND1,000.

The AKB2PA Award was given to nine government personnel who received trophies, medals, certificates of appreciation and BND1,000 cash prizes. – Adib Noor
