Outgoing envoys express gratitude

Outgoing Pakistani High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Farhat Abbas Sani, outgoing French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Bernard Regnauld-Fabre and outgoing Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona expressed gratitude for the assistance and facilities provided by Brunei Darussalam to strengthen relations between their countries and the Sultanate during farewell visits to Speaker of the Legislative Council (LegCo) Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib yesterday.

The envoys also hoped that the relations between the countries will continue to be strengthened and further developed in the future. They also touched on issues of mutual interest and concern. The LegCo Speaker expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the envoys throughout their tenure in the Sultanate to maintain and strengthen bilateral relations between Brunei and their countries, especially in people-to-people ties. – Azlan Othman
