Outgoing Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona shared her memories of the Sultanate, highlighting the cultural experiences as well as friendships forged.
The envoy said this during a high tea event hosted by Omani Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Erma Said Mohamed Al Kathiry to bid the outgoing high commissioner farewell.
The gathering, attended by female heads of diplomatic missions, paid tribute to the outgoing high commissioner for her contributions during her tenure in the country.
The Omani ambassador, meanwhile, described Nahida as an individual with extensive diplomatic experience and dedication to strengthening the relations between the Sultanate and Bangladesh.
She also conveyed best wishes to the outgoing high commissioner and expressed hope for a reunion in the near future. – Azlan Othman
