Members from the Oil Town Cyclist (OTC) Kuala Belait and Panaga Folding Club in the Belait District welcomed three cyclists from Indonesia who are undergoing their international cycling journey across three countries.
They arrived through the Labu Immigration Post, Temburong District on April 26.
They started their journey on April 11 at Surabaya, Indonesia and they first arrived on Borneo Island through Tawau.
The group then made their way across the island, passing by various key scenic locations such as Kota Kinabalu before arriving in the Sultanate.
The three cyclists were welcomed by various cycling groups in each district as they made their way across the nation. The commander of OTC Kuala Belait Mohd Yunos bin Haji Pungut said, “This is a one-of-a-kind expedition for them and we want to welcome more cyclists from abroad to visit Brunei, not only to partake in cycling expeditions but also to help foster unity for the sport of cycling.”
