RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang Village Consultative Council with RPN Bukit Beruang Mosque takmir committee on Saturday held a Khatam Al-Quran.
The event also saw the presentation of donations to 50 orphans and 12 special needs individuals on Saturday.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang Mosque Imam Mohd Aisamuddin bin Haji Saleman, followed by the recitation of Khatam Al-Quran, Doa Khatam and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
It continued with the presentation of donations and the breaking of fast with the donation recipients.
Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri attended as the guest of honour. – James Kon
