The Kampong Lambak Mosque Takmir Committee and Muslimah group organised a donation ceremony at the mosque on Monday where some 50 orphans from the surrounding area received cash donations and basic food necessities.
Acting Director of Mosque Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, the guest of honour, presented the donations to the orphans.
The initiative aimed to position the mosque as a centre for community activities, encourage charitable giving and support orphans during Ramadhan while strengthening unity and fostering ukhuwah among Muslims. – Lyna Mohamad
