Orientation programme preps new sixth formers

Meragang Sixth Form Centre welcomed the new lower sixth students with the commencement of its orientation programme held from February 26 to 28.

The programme was designed to welcome the students and provide them with an introduction to their academic journey.

The programme began with the students’ registration, followed by welcoming speeches by Principal Haryani binti Haji Mohammad and section members.

Over the span of three days, students were immersed in an array of activities and briefings by the Academic, Registration, Finance, Administration and Estate and Co-curricular Activities (CCA) sections.

The programme also featured career panel discussions, a personal insurance briefing and talks on mental health – to support the students’ overall well-being and academic success.

The orientation also covered student welfare, library services, and digital literacy, equipping students with the tools and knowledge for their studies.

The orientation concluded with a badge presentation ceremony organised by the student council (MPP and PRR) and an orientation marking the start of the educational journey for the new lower sixth students.
