Some 24 companies were issued warning letters, six businesses fined BND250 and one establishment compounded BND500 for violating Town and Country Planning (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2018.
The offences were uncovered during an operation by Department of Town and Country Planning (TCP) at the Ministry of Development targeting Mukim Sengkurong, Mukim Pengkalan Batu and Mukim Berakas.
The offences were obstructing parking spaces, sidewalks and landscaped areas by using or displaying items. The companies were given seven days to settle the fine. – Izah Azahari
