Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), held a ‘Study at KUPU SB 2023’ open day yesterday. Launched by KUPU SB Ra’es Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, the event aimed to expose the public to KUPU SB as an institution focused on religious teaching in the Sultanate.
Among the academic programmes on offer are Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Bachelor’s programmes, Diploma in Religious Teaching for Postgraduates, Bachelor of Education, Higher Diploma and specialised Diploma programmes through four faculties, namely Usuluddin, Syariah, Education and Social Science Education.
The academic programmes are supported by the Language Centre, Core Knowledge Centre, Postgraduate Studies and Research Centre, Family Fiqh Studies Centre, Research and Studies on Jawi and Traditional Texts Centre and the Understanding of the Sunni and Jamaah Studies Centre.
Other programmes include minor courses and twinning programmes for KUPU SB students pursuing Bachelor’s degrees. – Rokiah Mahmud
