The Ministry of Health (MoH) held an open day event for the Department of Scientific Services at the Al-’Afiah Hall at the MoH yesterday.
Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin was the guest of honour. The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Haji Mohd Emmarul bin Haji Azamain of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Religious Services Unit. It proceeded with a welcome speech from the permanent secretary.
The ceremony continued with a presentation on the services under the Department of Scientific Services including the Health Science Division, the Forensic Science Division and the Quality Division.
The Department of Scientific Services also opened a consultation session for stakeholders to ask questions about the services. The event aimed to provide updates on the services conducted by the department including the newly-opened services for the public and private sector, as well as updates on the analysis service payment schemes.
