Findlay education services is organising an online university applications fair for students on January 25-27. Representatives from 31 institutions in the United Kingdom (UK), Malaysia, Singapore and Canada will be available.
For those waiting for ‘A’ Level results, this will be the perfect time to decide on university choices.
The event is open to prospective students and those already holding offers.
According to Findlay Managing Director Sunita Martin, “Speaking directly with a university representative will help students gain a better picture of the degree programme, the university and its surrounding area to help them with their decisions.
“The vaccination programmes in the countries that Findlay represents have been successful and continue to gain momentum including being extended to younger populations.
“The efforts, together with the thorough safety and hygiene measures that universities continue to have in place, are encouraging. As more countries transition out of a pandemic to an endemic phase, those seeking higher education can now look forward to the university experiences their predecessors were able to enjoy.”
Students can attend their 20-minute virtual appointment from home, and parents can join, too. As the appointment will be pre-arranged, there is no need to queue. Those with weak Internet connections can visit Findlay, subject to social distancing requirements, to use the Wi-Fi connection for their appointments.
The participating universities represent a broad range of subjects, locations and entry requirements.
