Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been trying to exercise more and eat well to keep myself in tiptop shape. During the second wave, when we were encouraged to stay at home, I developed a workout routine to maintain my health and fitness.
It wasn’t easy as isolated exercise sessions got stale really fast.
So when sports facilities re-opened late last year, I was over the moon. I was finally able to play sports while socialising with my friends again.
However, in the recent weeks, the online booking system for these facilities has been a source of stress. Some haven’t been able to get the main page to load properly, while others have been able to select a facility to reserve only to have the page glitched out at the payment part of the process.
I hope the authorities could look into the issue as there is no other way to pay for a public sports facility at present.
Or perhaps it is time to introduce a hybrid system that allows the public the option of paying online or in person.
