An Indonesian national was detained and brought to the Law Enforcement Division during a recent Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) operation codenamed Operasi Kabat JIPK 51/2024 conducted by the Law Enforcement Division of Kuala Belait Branch in Kuala Belait.
Hellen Fransisca, 43, was sentenced to six-weeks imprisonment for failure to pay BND1,500 fines after violating Chapter 3 (2) Section 146 of the Passport Act, attempting to leave the country without reporting and producing travel documents to immigration officers on duty at the Sungai Tujoh Immigration Control Post.
