Omani delegation visits KUPU SB

A delegation of officers from Oman made a working visit to the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) yesterday.

The delegation was led by Advisor to the Omani Minister of Education for Educational Media and Head of the Minister’s Office Dr Saeed bin Saif Al Ameri, accompanied by Senior Curriculum Specialist (An Expert in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers), Hameed Al-Rajibi who is also the programme coordinator for Tadreeb Mu’alim and Head of Arabic Language Curriculum Development and delegation. Present to welcome the delegation was Ra’es of KUPU SB, Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar.

During the working visit, the two sides discussed cooperation opportunities, particularly in student exchanges programmes in Arabic Language and other education majors.

Both sides also discussed on organising seminars pertaining to an appropriate Arabic Language teaching methods in Brunei Darussalam.

The discussion also touched on the importance of renewing teaching methodologies based on modern trends and the needs of students.
