Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) has recorded 400 admission of students since the re-opening of the semester.

The college caters 30-40 per cent of students attending physical lessons in classrooms, while 60-70 per cent opt for online learning.

Overseeing how the college operates in the Endemic Phase, five officials headed by Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education (MoE) Dr Chin Wei Keh visited KIGS on Saturday.

They were welcomed by KIGS CEO Dr Azaharaini bin Mohd Jamil along with the senior administration staff at the college.

The college’s teaching and non-teaching staff have completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination, while 99.2 per cent of students have received the first and second doses of the vaccine.

Returning students are also required to take the antigen rapid test (ART) on the first day of physical attendance in the administration building, in line with the standard operating procedures.

The senior education officials also offered advice on the challenges encountered by the college including information on the number of students studying from home and face-to-face.
