The three-day workshop, held until tomorrow, is conducted in line with the ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM) Work Plan 2021-2025. It emphasises a balanced workforce for stability and aims to enhance transparency by showcasing the value delivered by government departments through analytics.
Throughout the programme, participants will be trained on workforce planning and analytics, emphasising their impact on human resource planning and management.
Sharing sessions among participants are also lined up to obtain insights into the workforce planning and analytics journey and measuring, tracking and analysing the workforce gap to devise interventions.
Among the agencies in attendance at the opening ceremony were the Wawasan Brunei Office, the Manpower Planning and Employment Council, Public Service Department, IPA and Ministry of Education. Fourteen civil servants from ASEAN member states, Timor Leste and the ASEAN Secretariat including representatives from 10 delegates from Brunei ministries are participating in the workshop.
