Officials complete development programme in Singapore

Eight officials from several ministries participated in the inaugural Public Service Development Programme in Singapore recently.

Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Public Service Department Director-General Dr Norfarizal bin Othman, Minister Counsellor and Acting Brunei Darussalam High Commissioner to Singapore Haji Ahmad Nasri bin Dato Dr Haji Abdul Latif and Singapore Permanent Secretary (Development) at the Public Service Division Teoh Zsin Woon were present at the ceremony at Singapore’s Public Service Division.

Ajman conveyed his gratitude on behalf of the Brunei government to the Singaporean government, whose direction and commitment were instrumental in bringing the programme to fruition.

The permanent secretary expressed hope that the friendship forged throughout the programme will flourish with a shared aspiration for a prosperous future.

The participants gained work experience through placement at Singapore government and government-linked agencies to enhance and develop key competencies, expand professional networks and contribute to the development of their ministries and the government.
